The Cake Shop before and after.
Our little shop has had many owners,, all who have put their own touch on it.. When we came across the shop, it was in need of some hard core TLC!! We were working on a small budget so it did not leave us for much room to really do a lot to it,, When I looked at the walls I felt the shop just did not say welcome at all, I wanted to add texture and color to the place,, so, I did,, now, I love the texture and color,, soon we may be able to add some more cool stuff, but for now.. here is what we look like..
This is little Gabe who belongs to Emily who runs the florist shop on the opposite end of me.
As you can see this is the front of the shop,, it is in real dire need of some help..
Here is the shop with the new look
Here's looking into the shop from the front door,,,before pic See Gabe's tiny head behind the counter? ahahahah!
Not to bad, just really really dark, and needed some warmth,, there were several wholes in the walls from all this stuff that was hanging on them from prior businesses.
This is the now photo of looking in..
As you can see we added some warmth, added some cases, counter and did the walls, and added a few other things..
Looking to the right of the entrance.
You can see the color of the shop, the texturing I did. You can see the added photo's of my cakes that my parents Sherry, and Phillip did of my work, it was their gifts to me for my shop.. I owe a lot to my parents for they truly are my biggest fans and greatest support in this crazy aventure of mine!!!! I love you mom! We have our wedding consult table for brides... we have our coffee station and my fathers BBQ products and my brothers BBQ products displayed also.. My father Bill helped me to get our cases and some ss tables for the shop,, we halled them all the way from Michigan from an auction..Thanks dad!
Looking to the other side from the inside out.
More photo's cover the wall's, we have a small fridge, a greeting table with photo books and other vendors advertising on it.. the front window with some cakes for show.etc. A large cork board full of letters and thank you"s from our wonderful customers and friends..newspaper articles and such.
